Never heard of Glitterball before? It’s Oxford’s only LGBTQ+ ball and it’s open for anyone from the Oxford Community to come and party. On February 23rd 2024, we’re taking over Oxford Town Hall and turning it into an Enchanted Forest for an evening of music, performances, food, free-flowing drinks and queer celebration. If you have heard of Glitterball you’ll know it’s a party you don’t want to miss, and this year we’re upping the antics even higher than before.

The party takes places from 19:00 – 01:00 across multiple rooms in the Town Hall. We’ve got two stages with an amazing line up including drag acts, bands, high-energy performers and DJs that we’ll be revealing in the run up to the ball. Throughout the night, there’ll be a variety of food options and you can drink to your heart’s content. Everything is included in your ticket price so you don’t have to worry about paying for any extras, just turn up and party.

What’s the dress code?

There isn’t one! Traditionally, Oxford Balls are Black Tie and many people choose to follow this however it’s completely up to you. We encourage you to get into our Enchanted Forest theme but that’s only a suggestion – wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and celebratory!

Is there an age limit?

Glitterball is a strictly 18+ event.

Will my accessibility requirements be accommodated?

Absolutely! We want everyone to be able to attend Glitterball and have an incredible evening. Please let us know any accessibility requirements you have on the ticket booking form and we’ll make sure that Glitterball is accessible to you. If you’d like to discuss any requirements or concerns before purchasing a ticket, please email
