Glitterball will be a spectacular event showcasing a variety of acts, fit for every mood. Spend time on the main stage dancing to some of our larger acts, or check out our DJ sets in the Glitterbox.

Alternatively, chill out in our Lounge, surrounded by calmer, yet live music. There’s something for everyone at Glitterball. Prepare for a night filled with nothing but glitter, movement, laughter, music and magic. Confirmed acts to be announced – watch this space!

Food and Drinks

Each ticket includes a buffet-style meal complemented by an enticing selection of drinks. All food will be fully plant-based, which doesn’t mean we will make sacrifices in taste! Our drinks cater to all, whether you fancy hitting it hard, having just a tipple or prefer to go non-alcoholic, we’ve got something for everyone!

Enjoy familiar bar favourites as well as drinks specially selected from new and upcoming brands. Keep an eye on Glitterball’s Instagram for exciting giveaways to give you a flavour of the drinks at the ball!

Equality and Environment

Holding an eco-friendly and inclusive ball is an important goal, which we hope to meet. We want every member of the LGBTQ+ community to feel welcome and represented, because we believe that the diversity of our community is something that should be celebrated.

We are also conscious of our impact on the environment, so are taking steps to be as green as possible! We aim to only use products that are sustainable and eco-friendly, and are working on a way to make recycling stations more fun and interactive!

Your safety and enjoyment is our top priority. We are determined to make the ball as welcoming as possible, so we are making plans to make sure everyone feels accepted and safe.  On the night, we will have systems in place to do this: ‘opt-out’ options for photographs, resources for people with sensory needs, a welfare officer on duty, an array of fun, non-alcoholic drinks, and much more! Any questions or queries, please get in touch.

COVID-19 Policy

Glitterball is committed to ensuring the safety of all our guests and suppliers during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Unfortunately, over the past few weeks of September and October, Town Hall have seen an increase in COVID-19 cases, which has severely affected the wellbeing of their staff. Resulting from this, they have reviewed their COVID 19 policies and have decided to reduce their event capacities. Due to this, Glitterball cannot take place this November. While we are disappointed by this and know you will be too, we wholeheartedly respect Town Hall’s decision to prioritise the safety of their staff and guests.

General sales still went out on the 11th October at 7pm, and our Glitterball Launch Party successfully took place at The Jolly Farmers on the 10th October.

We are still very excited for this special event, and have a great lineup of more giveaways to come in the run up to the second release of tickets!

In the case that Glitterball is fully cancelled, or you request a refund due to postponing, 10% of the price of each ticket costs will be retained to cover various cancellation costs – including to ensure that artists receive a minimum of 30% of their expected income.

If you have any questions regarding Glitterball’s response to Coronavirus, do not hesitate to contact the Presidents of Glitterball at presidents@glitterball.org . The deadline to refund your ticket was the 14th January. As per our policy, we now require evidence of an extenuating circumstance, and we will retain £5 to cover costs. This policy is to ensure the ball can go ahead for guests and that we can cover costs for our staff on the night.
